The roadmap to a sustainable future for all. They are interrelated and incorporate the global challenges we face every day, such as poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, peace and justice.

Therefore, and aware that achieving a sustainable future is everyone's responsibility, PINFRA is firmly committed to contributing to the SDGs, as well as to the 10 principles of the Global Compact and the recommendations made by the TCFD.

Main social programs

In support of community development and with the aim of fostering the growth of the ‘Yo sí soy Colima’ movement, we have implemented a series of actions focused on hiring local restaurants and generating employment in the area. This initiative not only seeks to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, but also to boost the local economy by promoting nearby businesses.

SDG 2

The objective of raising the productive potential of the fishermen of Laguna Cuyutlán is focused on generating a significant economic impact on the community, improving not only the fishermen's working conditions, but also strengthening their capacities and skills. This initiative seeks to provide fishermen with the necessary tools and knowledge to maximise the efficiency of their activities, while promoting sustainable practices that ensure the preservation of the lagoon's aquatic ecosystem.

SDG 8

We have established an alliance with the Centro de Conservación el Tortugario de Cuyutlán, Colima, with the aim of developing projects that benefit the environment in a tangible way. This collaboration seeks not only to preserve the species of sea turtles that inhabit the region, but also to care for and restore the local ecosystems, which are fundamental for their survival.

SGD 14

As part of our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy, we have implemented a programme to collect plastic bottle caps, which are then donated to CURSA, an organisation dedicated to the recycling and reuse of plastic materials. This effort aims to reduce the environmental impact generated by plastic waste, while promoting a culture of recycling within our community.

SGD 15

We are in constant contact with the communities along our highways, particularly on the Mexico - Marquesa route, with the aim of creating an open and collaborative dialogue that allows us to learn about their needs, concerns and projects. These approaches seek not only to generate a bond of trust, but also to contribute to the sustainable development of the localities that coexist with our operations.

SGD 16

Recent participation in the GRESB (Global ESG Benchmark for Real Assets) evaluation with our Monterrey - Nuevo Laredo toll road.
